Abstract
RESUMEN El presente artículo se basa en una revisión sobre la tuberculosis y la implicación que esta tiene dentro de la sociedad, a pesar de que existe un tratamiento curativo se ha dejado de lado la búsqueda activa de esta patología llevando a que en la actualidad sea una enfermedad reemergente de difícil manejo, es aquí donde juega un papel muy importante el profesional de la salud a la hora de realizar intervenciones sobre los determinantes sociales contribuyendo a la promoción de la salud y prevención de la enfermedad, como también es importante realizar un diagnostico oportuno y brindar el tratamiento correcto para cada paciente. Objetivo: Analizar la problemática social que tiene la tuberculosis en la actualidad. Palabras clave: Tuberculosis, determinantes sociales, enfermedad reemergente. ABSTRACT This article is based on a review of tuberculosis and the implication that this has in society, even though there is a curative treatment is no longer actively seeking side of this condition being that today is a disease reemerging unwieldy, it is here that plays a very important health professional when interventions on social determinants contributing to health promotion and disease prevention, as it is also important to make a timely diagnosis and provide the right treatment for each patient.
